The “I love NY” logo is iconic. I recently finished the book The Slip by Prudence Peiffer. This book has helped me re-visit Elisworth Kelly’s work. I approach these two letters as an abstract form. I started with cut paper and thought of the letter as shapes. The print I created is in the spirit of Kelly’s work."
